VATRE/Bond Election 2026
The Board of Trustees has ordered two elections for the November 3, 2026 election date and you will see two separate propositions on the ballot involving Olton ISD. One will be for a Voter Approved Tax Rate Election (a VATRE for short). The second is asking voters to approve the issuance of $1.6 million in bonds to provide funding for some capital projects. Below is information regarding the details of these two propositions that are on the ballot. If you have any questions, we will have three community meetings that will all take place at the Webb Elementary Cafeteria - 9/14 @ 6pm, 10/5 @ 6pm, and 10/19 @ 5:30pm or you are always welcome to contact the Central Office.
